Rev. Baxter Chism
Rev. Baxter Chism

Rev. Baxter Chism has been a pastor for over thirteen years and is a native of Alabama.  He is a graduate of Memphis Theological Seminary (Memphis, Tennessee) and Auburn University (Auburn, Alabama).  Ordained in the United Methodist Church, he served rural and suburban churches in north central and east central Alabama before coming to Massachusetts.  Rev. Chism loves to equip followers of Christ to reach the unchurched and get out of the church building.  Other areas of ministry he enjoys is pastoral care, working with children, conflict management, and helping churches adapt to a rapidly changing culture.
Baxter is married to Christina who is also from Alabama. They have one daughter, Laynie, who is the joy of their life.  Baxter and Christina love animals and have two Australian Shepherds and two cats.   Baxter loves the Boston Red Sox and watches almost every game.  Christina and Baxter love Auburn University sports.  In the fall, you will find them glued to their TV watching all Auburn football games (War Eagle!).
