Tewksbury Congregational Church has a long tradition of service both in our local community and in our global community. Leadership for these efforts comes in many forms but is most commonly through the Missions Committee, which is comprised of up to six members of the Congregation who serve rotating 3 year terms.
The Missions Committee’s main focus is in these three areas:
1. Coordination of hands-on service/outreach projects
2. Collection and disbursement of financial and in-kind gifts
3. Education and advocacy of/for service organizations
The following members currently serve of the Missions Committee for the 2007-2008 calendar year:
2005-2008: Emir Galevi, JoJo Scharmer (Church Council Rep)
2006-2009: Beth McFadyen (Chairperson)
2007-2010: Cathie Seamen, Suzanne Spezzano (Secretary)
